Connect directly with the Schools Engagement team to explore upcoming workshops and programs for students, preview new classroom resources, and learn about special events and professional development opportunities. These sessions are a great way to discover how to make the most of what State Library offers schools. Thu 5 Feb – Connecting with State Library in 2026 Overview of upcoming programs and highlights of new resources. Thu 26 Feb – Anzac Square Memorial Galleries and Queensland’s war stories Preparing for Anzac Day and exploring new commemorative resources. Thu 7 May – What’s On: Term 2 Mabo Day, Reconciliation Week, and new resources. Thu 4 Jun – What’s On: Term 3 Exploring Media and Information Literacy initiatives and new resources. Tue 1 Sep – What’s On: Term 4 Preparing for Remembrance Day. Wed 28 Oct – Connecting with State Library in 2027 Preview of the 2027 Schools Program and upcoming opportunities for schools. Session details: Sessions will be delivered via Microsoft Teams. Live only (sessions are not recorded). Open to all Queensland teachers. Bookings for this workshop close 30 minutes before the event.
