Volunteer
Volunteer with us and make a difference in Queensland's cultural heritage.
Volunteer program
The volunteers participate in both front-of-house projects such as providing building tours for visitors, assisting with exhibitions and music performances and back-of-house projects which include historical document transcription and working with our collections.
The volunteer program greatly enhances the capabilities of State Library and provides a very enjoyable and interesting way to become involved with and to support one of Australia’s great cultural institutions.
Check out our volunteer opportunities on Volunteering Queensland and learn more about our volunteer policy.
