World Science Festival Brisbane 2019 is just around the corner, coming to the cultural precinct from the 20-24 March! In anticipation of this year’s festival, there are a range of State Library of Queensland resources freely available to quench your curiosity in science. Below is a snapshot to get you started.

State Library membership

We’ve curated a playlist with 20 films linked to World Science Festival themes. To see more, simply become a State Library member and follow the steps below!

Sign up to Kanopy:

  1. Become a State Library member (free) on our website.
  2. Head to http://slq.kanopy.com/ to create a Kanopy account (note – only State Library members can access Kanopy for free).
  3. Login to Kanopy and watch our specially curated World Science Festival playlist or take your selection of thousands of titles available. State Library members can view 10 films or episodes per month.

Fabrication Lab - The Edge basement at State Library houses a creative space with a host of resources for you to bring your creative visions to life.
