This year Golf Queensland celebrates 100 years of administering amateur golf in Queensland. To celebrate this milestone, Golf Queensland and State Library of Queensland are collaborating to develop a Flickr gallery, a showcase of current and past golf clubs on Historypin, and an online presence for golf clubs in Wikipedia.

The centenary is a great opportunity to promote golf in Queensland while preserving the past. It is hoped that all member clubs will follow suit and collect, digitise, and describe their memorabilia for golfing generations to come.
