About the talk
Bridging the start-up valley of death with tricks and traps to creating a brand.
From teddy bears and dump trucks in backyard sandpits to books, Andrew will talk about the process of bringing Engibear and his friends to life. Bearly Engineering has grown through a combination of planning, trial and error, community support, hard work and luck.
While it is still a very small business we think we have created a solid foundation; something that should probably be expected from an engineer.
Andrew is a consulting engineer who is passionate about the integral role of engineering in environmental management, sustainability and about the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) education for our future.
Andrew, together with Architect and illustrator Ben Johnston, have completed two books Engibear’s Dream and Engibear’s Bridge and are working on a third book Engilina’s Trains.
