Seedy state: iLab ready to Germinate more Queensland startups

"There’s no better time than now to be a Queensland startup, according to iLab director Bernie Woodcroft.
Since being founded in 2012 Brisbane-based iLab has helped launch 100 startups in a diverse range of industries. Startups graduating its accelerator programs include 3D printing startup Cartesian Co, energy storage startupRedback Technologies and health tech startup Mindstar.
With the Queensland government throwing an increased amount of support on its startups, most notably through a $40 million co-investment fund, local MPWyatt Roy’s rise to Assistant Minister for Innovation, and another advocate with a national profile in Shark Tank’s Steve Baxter, Woodcraft says the Queensland startup ecosystem has never been stronger."
