This Brisbane real estate map from 1914 is advertising 66 allotments of land for sale at the Rose Hill Estate, Rosalie, which is now part of the suburb of Bardon. The allotments for sale were situated along Boundary Road, Brown Street, Hebe Street, Selby Street and Gerler Street.

Prior to the sale extensive publicity was published in the Brisbane Courier and The Telegraph newspapers with advertisements highlighting the close proximity of the estate to the Paddington and Rosalie Tram stops.

A public auction was held at the site on the afternoon of April 18, 1914 with 65 allotments sold for a grand total of £854 (nearly $96,000 today). The Telegraph newspaper reported the highest bid for an allotment was £28 and the lowest, £5 ($3,150 and $560 today).
