One hundred collections of WWI local treasures will be digitised and loaded onto an interactive timeline as well as the personal recollections of the children and grandchildren of WWI veterans living in diverse areas of the State. Activities will culminate in spectacular projections of WWI images at the end of the commemorative period.

Janette Wright, Chief Executive Officer and State Librarian said the following, "SLQ is determined that this project provide a tangible opportunity to demonstrate how we – galleries, libraries, museums, archives, performing arts and creative industries - can work together to deliver lasting outcomes for Queenslanders."
