Political Ephemera for the John Oxley Library

By JOL Admin | 15 September 2010

A big thank you to everyone who responded to our call for assistance to collect political ephemera from the various voting centres around the State during the recent Federal election. The response was overwhelming and resulted in the John Oxley Library receiving material from every electorate in Queensland! Staff are now busily processing boxes of 'How to Vote' forms, stickers, bunting, posters, placards and other memorabilia to add to the Library's collection. This material may be located in our federal election ephemera.

Staff at the John Oxley Library explore some of the political ephemera. (From left to right: Sharon Nolan, Tania Schafer, Troy Keith and Field Student Placement - Linda MacFarlene.)
