‘One of the few who’s spent real time with startups’: Wyatt Roy becomes focus of growth economy’s hopes

"The youngest Federal minister in Australian history has also become the focus of optimism from the growth economy following Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s frontbench reshuffle. Wyatt Roy, the 25-year old who’s just become Assistant Minister For Innovation, is one of the few Federal politicians who’s spent “real time” amongst the startup community, according to entrepreneur, Shark Tank star and founder of Brisbane’s River City Labs co-working space, Steve Baxter. “He was the driving force behind a recent visit to River City Labs in Queensland with Tony Abbott.
