Movember 2010

By JOL Admin | 15 November 2010

From Salvador Dali to Tom Selleck the moustache has been the fashion accessory of some very interesting men indeed. Whether you're sporting a handlebar, pencil, walrus, or Pancho Villa November is the month to let the mo grow.

In 2003 a group of Australian mates, inspired by the women's health movement, noted that there was a need to help men engage more with their own health issues.

And so Movember was born; a month-long celebration of the Moustache helping to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues such as prostate cancer and depression in men.

If you like the look of the mustachioed Queensland fellows above taken from the John Oxley Library's online images then why not check out our moustache sets on Flickr here and here.
