About Amelia Salmon

Amelia discovered community development practice via a passion for activism and social change and was hooked. Her community development practice and experience is mostly in the fields of micro finance and community enterprise development. Amelia has managed social enterprises as well as supported lots of groups to start them. The methods of community based training, and experiential, creative learning are central to her practice and she as continually explores training methods that work for people who may not have fared well in formal education. Amelia is also the Vice Chair of the QLD Social Enterprise Council; a Statewide peak body for social enterprise.
