This Brisbane real estate map from 1889 is advertising 306 allotments of land for sale at the Lancaster's Gardens Estate, Hamilton, which is now part of the suburb of Ascot. The allotments for sale were situated along Lancaster Road, Racecourse Road, Vine Street, Napier Street, Magdala Street, Wellington Street (now Duke Street), Norman Street, Nudgee Road and Pine Avenue (now Beatrice Terrace).

Prior to the sale extensive publicity was published in the Brisbane Courier and The Telegraph newspapers with advertisements highlighting its close proximity to the Eagle Farm Racecourse as well as railway and bus stations.
