‘Kennels do $750m a year but it’s one-ninth of all pet minding’: how the Mad Paws marketplace raised $1.1m

"Pet-minding marketplace Mad Paws has attracted some prominent human seeders, with Commonwealth Bank retail banking chief Matt Comyn and local Amazon Web Services boss Paul Migliorini among those contributing to a $1.1 million oversubscribed round. Only launched last November, Mad Paws now offers 3500 pet sitters across Australia but founder Alexis Soulopoulos won’t reveal customer numbers, revenue or company valuation for now." Read more
