Get Spooky at The Edge

By Michelle Brown | 31 October 2024

We love a holiday theme at The Edge, especially Halloween. It's the perfect opportunity to showcase what you can do with our equipment and a little creativity.

Josh, one of our regular patrons, skilfully used The Edge laser cutters to decorate his home with affordable items that can be reused and recycled. Inspired by his work, we've been experimenting with other simple and effective spooky decorations you can create with just some cardboard and a bit of paint.

A small house is decorated to look like a monster’s face, with the door painted as a mouth with sharp teeth and the windows as big eyes, giving it a spooky, Halloween vibe.

While you don’t need a laser cutter to create cardboard decorations, it definitely helps achieve finer details quickly. During our recent Family Make It Club meetup, we demonstrated the basics of vector design to prepare fun, laser-cut Halloween-inspired cardboard cutouts, perfect for decorating your home for trick-or-treaters.
