Are you an employee or volunteer in the heritage or galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAM) sector? Join a free two-day Heritage Leaders Workshop in May as we reflect on the outcomes, successes and challenges of the Anzac centenary commemorations.

Engage with your peers and build your own professional practice as you learn from and network with leading local, national and international historians, creative thinkers and heritage professionals.

Hear case studies from industry experts and build your professional practice as we explore and assess ways to inspire and engage audiences. Did what we intend to do work well? What did we learn? What would be done differently if we were to undertake a similar commemoration program? Were we successful in creating a lasting archive for future generations?

This is a free workshop, but places are limited.

Travel bursaries

We are offering travel bursaries of up to $2,000 to individuals and organisations from across Queensland to participate in the Heritage leaders workshop: pause, reflect and learn.

To apply, read the bursary guidelines  (DOCX 283.1 KB) and submit a completed application form (Part A), responses to selection criteria (Part B), expenditure breakdown (Part C), and a brief curriculum vitae for all individuals attending.

Applications close 5pm, 28 February.

For more information about the bursaries phone 07 3842 9687, or email qanzac100@slq.qld.gov.au

The Heritage leaders workshop is part of Q ANZAC 100: Memories for a New Generation, a joint initiative between the Queensland Government and the Anzac Centenary Public Fund.
