COVID-19 update: State Library is gradually reopening. Before you visit, please read what spaces are open.
The Heritage leaders workshop will be live streamed on Thursday 30 May from 9.30am - 1pm and Friday 31 May from 9:30am - 11am. Tune in at www.slq.qld.gov.au/discover/live-stream.
Are you an employee or volunteer in the heritage or galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAM) sector? Join us for a free two-day Heritage leaders workshop as we reflect on the outcomes, successes and challenges of the Anzac Centenary commemorations.
Engage with your peers and build your own professional practice as you learn from and network with leading local, national and international historians, creative thinkers and heritage professionals.
Hear case studies from industry experts and assess ways to inspire and engage audiences. Did what we intend to do work well? What did we learn? What would be done differently if we were to undertake a similar commemoration program? Were we successful in creating a lasting archive for future generations?
Date: Thursday 30 and Friday 31 May 2019
Time: 9am - 5pm (Thursday) and 9am - 4pm (Friday). Please note, Thursday's session will be followed by networking drinks.
Where: Auditorium 1, level 2, State Library of Queensland
