This real estate map from 1926 advertises land for sale at the Framont Estate, located in the Brisbane suburb of Holland Park. The allotments were situated along Holland Road, Murton Avenue, Logan Road, Nelson Avenue (now Framont Avenue) and Park Avenue (now Glindemann Drive).

Extensive publicity was published in Brisbane newspapers.

"Situation - Logan Road, corner Holland Road, just a few yards from the new tram terminus, with electric light at the estate, and water on the way…Extra large areas, high and breezy, enjoying cool, pure mountain air, graded and formed roads, perfect building blocks, nice slopes, well drained, and handy to school." (The Telegraph, 9 October 1926, p.20)
A public auction was to be held at the ground on the afternoon of 30 October 1926. The results of the sale were published in the Brisbane Courier newspaper.
"Messrs. Isles, Love, and Co. Ltd, report the sale by auction on Saturday of 28 allotments of the Framont Estate, Logan-road, for £2605, the prices ranging from £70 to £200 per allotment." (Brisbane Courier, 2 November 1926, p.7)

Find your Holland Park house in the Frank and Eunice Corley collection

From the 1960s to the 1970s, Frank and Eunice Corley drove the suburban streets of Queensland in their pink Cadillac, taking photographs of houses and selling them to homeowners. A database containing over 61,000 photographs can now be searched and viewed online. There are 902 photographs for Holland Park.
The Corley collection is the focus of State Library of Queensland’s latest exhibition, Home: a suburban obsession, which runs from 7 December 2018 until 14 July 2019.
