The John Oxley Library recently hosted a series of familiarisation seminars for groups of students, academic staff and others with an interest in the Library's collections and services.
These groups included:
- Post-graduate students of history and similar disciplines.
- Staff of the School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics, University of Queensland.
- Queensland College of Art staff and students.
- Heritage consultants from the Queensland Government's Environmental Protection Agency
The seminars were well attended and provided an opportunity for participants to discuss their topics with Library staff as well as view relevant collection material.
