Time: 12.30pm–1.15pm

Where:  Business Studio, level 1, State Library of Queensland

In this session, Melinda Trembath shares her extensive knowledge and experience and discuss how to grow your business, how to get your product into the majors and when is the right time to take this step.

Melinda Trembath is the creator and owner of Melinda’s Gluten Free Goodies. Beginning in 2004, Melinda now has over ten years’ experience in running her own business.

Melinda’s gourmet wholesale cake business initially specialised in supplying gluten free cakes to cafes in South East Queensland. After four years and supplying over 150 cafes and delis, Melinda created a successful baking mix range and began supplying Woolworths in 2008 and Coles from 2009. Melinda still supplies to Coles, along with an extensive range of independents, health and specialty online stores around Australia. Melinda has also developed a diverse clientele in the food service/catering industry and currently supplies major contracts around Australia. She exports to eight countries and has years of experience in product development and entering and supplying to major supermarket chains.

Our Business Studio lunch box forums feature a new speaker each fortnight. Conveniently scheduled over your lunch break, the lunch box forums serve as a 45 minute inspirational and informative session on a variety of business related topics. Bring along your lunch or grab something from The Library Cafe on your way.

Business Studio membership is free and gives you access to a great range of resources and business support. Visit the team on level 1 to sign up now.
