Applications Invited - State Library of Queensland Awards

Entries are invited in four categories of the prestigious State Library of Queensland Awards.

Each year, the Awards recognise the achievement of excellence in the work of libraries; contribution to the appreciation of Queensland's history; and the research and documenting of Queensland history using resources primarily within the John Oxley Library.

2009 John Oxley Library Fellows Susan Addison and Dr Judith McKay

The Library Board of Queensland Award and the John Oxley Library Award are given by the Library Board of Queensland, the statutory authority governing the State Library of Queensland.  The John Oxley Library Fellowship encourages the research and documenting of Queensland history, using sources contained within the State Library in general, and specifically within the collections of the John Oxley Library.  The John Oxley Library Community History Award recognises excellence and innovation in the recording of Queensland history by individuals and local community organisations.
