Skill Seeker: Maker Edition - Launch

Join us at The Edge for Made Today and the launch of Skill Seeker: Maker Edition, the new book by Steph Piper. Meet Steph and discover the inspiration behind her latest publication for makers looking to level up their creative skill sets.

Steph Piper says:

'Ever had the urge to grow your maker skills but you just don't know where to start? Have you ever wanted to be able to track and level up your skills, just like in a video game? Skill Seeker is a book filled with real life skill trees, and allows you to visualise your skill progress across 15 different maker skills. Identify skill gaps, get inspired to try new things and calculate your maker XP score.'

Skill Seeker is a practical way to track growth, identify skill gaps and level up your creative ability. Use it to test your skill levels across 3D modelling, 3D printing, electronics, sewing, metalworking, woodworking and more. Track the scores of your friends in the leader board and complete goal setting and self-reflection activities in a meditative, off-screen experience.

Steph will have copies of her book available for purchase and the talk will take place at The Edge in the window bays. Our Made Today meetups are a great chance to hear from local artists, makers, designers and more.
