101 - Vector design with Adobe Illustrator

Learn the basics of vector design with Adobe Illustrator, using this core skill set for creatives, you will create a design to cut as a vinyl sticker during the workshop session.

Your new vector knowledge will help you with a range of equipment at The Edge, including preparing designs for laser and vinyl cutting, animation and motion graphics.

To help you get the most out of this session, please arrive with an Adobe account set up in advance — it is free to create one online.  

The Edge’s Digital Media Lab is fully equipped with the Creative Cloud suite, available to use during Open lab. All you need is your Adobe account to kickstart your creative journey. 

ABOUT 101 WORKSHOPS

101 skill development workshops give you the basic skills you need to start your new creative journey.  

Each workshop is delivered by an experienced facilitator and to participate in the workshops, intermediate computer skills, a willingness to learn and a little patience will see you underway.

Participants must be over 16 years of age.
