Baby play in The Corner

A special First 5 Forever session for babies 0-12months.
These sessions focus on baby-paced play, rhyme and shared story in a way that supports you as your baby’s most important educator – with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow together.
Baby Play takes place every Monday and Friday at 10am. No bookings required.

Rhyme time in The Corner

Songs and rhymes for babes in arms to children ready to dance.
This First 5 Forever session is a special time for you and your little one where you can share rhymes, songs and stories in a creative and relaxed environment.
Rhyme Time takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 10am. No bookings required.

Story time in The Corner

A fun selection of stories for everyone!
Join us for our First 5 Forever Story Time sessions for children aged 0-5 and explore stories through specially selected picture books and oral storytelling.
Story Time is held at 10am every Wednesday and Sunday. No bookings required.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to book?
No bookings are required for our regular programs in The Corner and The Parlour is open for you to drop in anytime 10am to 3pm daily.
Can I come with a large group eg. childcare, playgroup or school?
If you are planning to come with a large group (more than 10 people including children and adults), please email us at ypf@slq.qld.gov.au so we can provide you with the best possible experience.
I have specific needs for myself or my children — what should I do?

Do you have a carer's room?
Yes. The carer's room is located in the Infozone on level 1, right beside our spaces for families. It has an accessible toilet, seating area, baby change facilities and microwave.
