Entrance to the Cloudland Ballroom, Bowen Hills, Brisbane, 1946. Front entrance of the Cloudland Ballroom in Bowen Hills. It was constructed in 1939-1940 as 'Luna Park' and opened on the 2 August, 1940. In 1942 United States Forces took over the ballroom an an office and headquarters. It was reopened as a ballroom again on the 26 April, 1947. The building was demolished in 1982.
