A superb and rare Queensland example of a fern collector's album, so popular during Victorian times. This one quarto scrap-book has a small spine label titled 'Australia Ferns Examples', comprising of 20 neatly arranged pasted-in north Queensland fern specimens, one specimen per page, and each with notes describing habitat, collecting locality and collection date, 1883-1884.
