Groups and teachers

State Library of Queensland offers an exciting program of learning opportunities for students, educators, large groups and learners of all ages. Through our collections, exhibitions and events we aim to inspire, challenge and engage all Queenslanders to develop skills and knowledge for lifelong learners.

Group visits

Group tours and self-guided visits are great ways to get to know State Library’s amazing spaces, collections and services. Our free guided tours last 45 minutes and are suitable for all groups including students, years 5 and up.

Guided tours are available to groups of students Year 5 through tertiary as well as teachers, librarians and other adult groups. Bookings close 14 days’ prior to each date. If your group has special requirements please contact us directly.

Teachers

We offer learning resources across a broad range of subject areas, as well as support for teachers to make the best use of State Library's extensive collections and services. State Library creates flexible teaching and learning activities linked directly to the Australian Curriculum and State Library's collections.
