State Library of Queensland offers an exciting program of learning opportunities for students, educators, large groups and learners of all ages. Through our collections, exhibitions and events we aim to inspire, challenge and engage all Queenslanders to develop skills and knowledge for lifelong learners.
Group tours and self-guided visits are great ways to get to know State Library’s amazing spaces, collections and services. Our free guided tours last 45 minutes and are suitable for all groups including students, years 5 and up.
Guided tours are available to groups of students Year 5 through tertiary as well as teachers, librarians and other adult groups. Bookings close 14 days’ prior to each date. If your group has special requirements please contact us directly.
We welcome self-guided groups to explore our spaces, exhibitions and resources. Please check in to let us know about your visit, and contact us if we can help make your visit more meaningful.
We offer professional development sessions, student workshops and learning resources across a broad range of subject areas, as well as support to make the best use of State Library's extensive collections and services.
