Get ready for an action-packed Summer Reading Club these school holidays, with plenty of frolicking, the odd barbecue, and maybe some unicycling! Featuring Sophie Beer's vibrant and colourful characters from The Little Queenslander's Alphabet Book, this year's club invites children and families to have adventures wherever they are, with epic quests, fast paced stories and exploring their own backyard.

There are 20 new reading challenges to complete earning you a completion badge and experience points (XP). Not only can you use your XP to unlock avatars, but all points earned go towards your local library's total on the leaderboard.
The Summer Reading Club is a great way to keep your child's literacy and learning going throughout the holiday period through fun activities specifically developed to encourage and nurture a love literature. From choose your own adventure books to treasure hunting and podcasts, there is something for everyone in this year's Summer Reading Club.
Summer Reading Club: Your Adventure Awaits starts 1 December 2022 and runs over the summer school holiday period until 31 January 2023. To join the club visit www.summerreadingclub.slq.qld.gov.au
