Managing and Avoiding Common Aches and Pains at the Computer

We now work with computers and screens at work, at home and on the run, but how do we set up our workspace and manage those common aches and pains we all experience after spending time at the computer?
As a physiotherapist and safety consultant, Leanne Loch offers a unique and practical perspective on strategies to manage and prevent workplace injury. In the second of two fun, interactive talks (14 Feb and 6 June) Leanne shows you how to learn quick and easy tips to build healthy habits when using your computer.
Leanne is the Director and Principal Consultant at Back on Track, established in 2005. Back on Track is a boutique health and safety consulting firm offering solutions to workplace injury and ill-health, working with clients in corporate and industrial settings alike.

How to Prepare a Brief

Michaela Jackson is a communications professional who has worked with organisations large and small, on projects with generous budgets to no budget at all, and with clients and stakeholders as varied as health professionals, senior executives, fuel industry operators, retail customers, and remote communities. After more than 10 years in professional practice and completing a PhD, Michaela now works as a freelance communications professional and a lecturer.
Michaela believes that accessing great skills, knowledge and professional support shouldn’t be limited by the size of your business or project.
Today, small and large businesses alike engage service providers such as photographers, designers or copywriters to help them reach their goals. In this free Business Studio lunch box forum, Michaela will show you how to prepare an effective brief, and explain why a brief can save you time and money in the long run.
Participants will come away with a briefing template they can modify for their own needs, handy tips, and an overview of the steps involved in engaging a creative service provider.
