State Library of Queensland wiki PD

The Edge, State Library of Queensland (State Library) has spent the past four years developing a platform for the documentation and distribution of programming materials. This platform has been developed to reflect State Library's commitment to sharing intellectual property developed with public resources, and will be publicly available on 18 June  as the SLQ wiki.

As part of the launch of the SLQ wiki, State Library  is offering  a professional development (PD) opportunity at The Edge to be held  18 −19  June that explores the use of the wiki platform in remote and regional context.  This PD is open to local library and government staff across Queensland, with limited travel and accommodation bursaries available.  Alternative training can also be provided in communities, for those staff that can’t make the Brisbane training.
