Start-up investment tax incentives 'world's most generous'

"The Turnbull government's tax incentives for investment in innovative start-ups introduced to Parliament on Thursday are "arguably the most generous in the world", the head of the start-up lobby says, although the process of approving "innovation companies" could be simpler. The entire board of StartupAUS met with Innovation Minister Christopher Pyne in October, and their recommendations on encouraging more angel and venture capital investment have broadly been adopted, according to Alex McCauley, chief executive of the not-for-profit group representing the start-up community." Read more
