Small grants for rural communities - closes 31 March

By administrator | 22 February 2017

A children’s book week comedy show for kids, barcoding equipment, locally sustainably made toys, a human library event – all of these projects have previously been awarded funds through the Small Grants for Rural Communities program.

If you have an idea for developing leadership skills within your community, creating places to connect and grow, providing access to arts and culture opportunities, or enhancing growth and wealth in the community, you have until 31 March to apply for up to $5,000 to support your project.

Be sure to read about the successful recipients from previous grants rounds for further project ideas.

For more tips for applying for grants, browse the PowerPoint What do we want? A Grant! When do we want it? Now! You can find this on the External grants page on the Public Libraries Connect website.
