Program is ready for WANTOK 2013, 1 - 3 November 2013, Brisbane

 This weekend on the 1 – 3 November 2013, members of the Australian South Sea Islander Community are invited to attend WANTOK 2013.  This year WANTOK 2013 will be held at the State Library of Queensland, Stanley Place, South Brisbane.

1. To acknowledge that  2013 marks the 150th anniversary of the arrival of the first South Sea Islanders to Queensland in 1863 and;

2.  Australian South Sea Islanders from all around Australia electing their first national governing bodies – a permanent National Australian South Sea Islander Secretariat and a Secretariat Board of Directors to represent the interests of all Australian South Sea Islanders.
