The power of props in library early literacy sessions

By administrator | 1 August 2018

Webinar:  1–2pm, Thu 6 Sep

Harness the power of props to enhance your early literacy sessions. This practical webinar will explore the huge variety of props you can use when working with babies, toddlers and young children in your library service to increase engagement, interaction and early literacy understanding. Well known picture books will be used as examples to illustrate how puppets, toys, maps, found objects, loose parts, felt boards, parachutes and lycra can be incorporated into your sessions with purpose.

The webinar will present practical ideas relevant to large and small library services and is part of the growing First 5 Forever webinar series.
