Want to learn practical skills for better customer service? Why not attend Future focused workforce: Rural Libraries Queensland professional development (PD) in North Burnett Regional Council?

North Burnett Regional Council is hosting PD in partnership with State Library of Queensland (State Library) on Thursday 29 November 2018.

This one-day workshop will engage public library staff through the fundamentals of the day-to-day management of a library branch within the Regional Libraries Queensland (RLQ) network.   We will look at key concepts around library collections and circulation, and some core functions of the Aurora library management system, using the RLQ duty roster as the backbone of our investigations. Attendees will also get hands on with eresources that enhance available physical collections.

Visit the Public Libraries Connect (PLC) Training Calendar for more information and related resources.
