High-tech Pirate Life brewery and bar coming to Port Adelaide
By Administrator | 20 February 2018
Adelaide based brewing company Pirate Life will build a $15 million brewery and bar venue at Port Adelaide's historic woolstores.
The South Australian craft brewer, Pirate Life Brewing, will build one of the largest craft breweries in South Australia.
The new site will almost quadruple Pirate Life's annual production to more than 11 million litres, and create 80 new jobs.
In addition to the state-of-the-art brewing plant, the brewing company will also build a bar venue for punters to delight in the company's range of craft beers.
The South Australian Government will contribute $2 million to the redevelopment of the historic woolstore site through the Economic Investment Fund.
The site at Port Adelaide will complement the brewing company's existing brewery in Hindmarsh. The Hindmarsh site will be transformed into an 'innovation centre' where the company will focus on research, development, training, and the production of specialty beers. Read more
