Harmony Day

By Fiona Dixon | 21 March 2016

Monday 21 March is Harmony Day – a day to celebrate our cultural diversity and share what we have in common.

The theme for this year’s Harmony Day is “Our diversity is our strength”, which is a wonderful description of SLQ’s visitor experience team. Visitors to the library will be familiar with our friendly staff, many of whom are from diverse cultural backgrounds and who speak a number of languages.

With such a variety of backgrounds and rich life experiences we are able to work together and use our individual strengths to help each other and provide the best possible service for our visitors – online, over the phone and in person.
