Grants are available to help your library preserve collections of national significance.

Up to $15,000 is available to libraries and other organisations to help with the assessment, preservation and conservation of nationally significant collections. There’s even an opportunity to upskill with training workshops supported as part of the Community Heritage Grants.

For the past decade, more than 70 projects have been funded each year. Previous grant recipients include Hinchinbrook, Burdekin, Mackay, Cairns, Yarrabah and Mapoon Councils. Why don’t you browse the project tables for ideas for your own library?

Head to the guidelines and application form to apply before May 8, or find more valuable information on the useful resources page.
