Free Stream! Using digital technology for learning

State Library welcomes Professor Mitchel Resnick as the next speaker in Australian Computer Society’s ICT Educators’ Global Leaders’ Series, in collaboration with LEGO Education Australia.

Professor Resnick will look at how educators can create successful learning environments with digital technology.

Professor Resnick is credited as the creator of the Scratch coding platform that has attracted over 65 million users, as well as a learning expert and leader of MIT’s Media Lab and author of Lifelong Kindergarten: cultivating creativity through projects, passions, peers and play. He won the 2011 McGraw Prize in Education, AACE EdMedia Pioneer Award in 2013, and was listed as one of the 100 most creative people in business by Fast Company in 2011.

Educators can also attend LEGO Education workshops before the lecture.
