In many respects Australian South Sea Islander history and culture is hidden in full view. Join John Oxley Library Fellows Matthew Nagas and Kathleen Mary Fallon as they discuss their research and the complexities of documenting the plethora of sites created, revered and maintained by generations of Australian South Sea Islanders over 150 years. Follow their journey, from Tweed to Torres Strait, from the establishment of the sugar industry to the present day.
