NAIDOC Week 2025 is being celebrated across Queensland with diverse events hosted by public libraries and Indigenous Knowledge Centres (IKC), offering opportunities to engage with and learn about First Nations cultures.
In Cairns, the "Echoes of the Earth" event at the City Library features renowned artist Jason Von Roehl, who shares his Ngan'giwumirri heritage through interactive didgeridoo performances and showcases Indigenous artifacts.

In Brisbane, the First 5 Forever children's storytime at Brisbane Square Library provides a special session for children aged 2–5 to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through storytelling.
Somerset Libraries are hosting a series of workshops: the Cultural Art Painting workshop in Kilcoy, the Introduction to Culture through Jewellery workshop in Lowood, and the Deadly Dot Pots workshop in Esk, all aimed at celebrating First Nations culture through hands-on activities.
