Business Studio lunch box forum: Setting up your workspace

By administrator | 16 February 2018

Date: Wednesday 14 February 2018

Time: 12.30pm–1.15pm

Where:  Business Studio, level 1, State Library of Queensland

We now work with computers and screens at work, at home and on the run, but how do we set up our workspace and manage those common aches and pains we all experience after spending time at the computer?

This set of two fun, interactive talks (14 Feb and 6 June) shows you how. We guarantee you will leave each talk with at least three easy to apply tips that will decrease your pain and increase your productivity. Whether you work in an office or in a coffee shop, these talks are for you!

Liz Kirk (PhD) is one of Australia’s leading researchers and trainers in skill-based office ergonomics and injury prevention for computer users. As the owner and principal trainer of Practical Ergonomics and the ‘Get Comfortable’ programs, Liz provides a range of talks and training that demonstrate the practical and easy things we can do every day to help prevent the pain and discomfort we all feel when using a computer for long periods.

Our Business Studio lunch box forums feature a new speaker each fortnight.

Business Studio membership is free and gives you access to a great range of resources and business support. Visit the team on level 1 to sign up now.
