...the art of having a conversation about your business

Janine lead an interactive session that asked and answered how to manage expectations, emotional investment and the purpose of your business. This session was aimed at founders who would like some direction for finding and keeping their authentic voice when pitching a new, evolving or established business idea.

For 18 years Janine Lee has successfully and singularly directed her company and led a team of creatives to develop award winning artwork and campaigns for government and private sector clients. She has founded and co-founded 4 start-ups and Janine’s passion for supporting and uplifting women is evident in her volunteering to numerous NFPs and social enterprises including Global Sisters, The Right Direction, the Australian Gender Equality Council, CARE Australia, One Girl, The Forest Stewardship Council and The National Breast Cancer Association.

Most recently her activities have focused on establishing a social venture called Feathersome. With the help of a diverse and growing working group, Janine leads this social enterprise via independent, intelligent media and events to enable women’s voices to be spoken, heard, seen and valued. A range of initiatives provide community with resources for improved leadership and build partnerships through people and technology to support women affected by violence.
