The second half of the ever-popular UQ Architecture lecture series resumes in May to inspire the designer in everyone.

Hear from talented Brisbane-based architects Melody Chen of Atelier Chen Hung along with Rebecca Caldwell and Emily Juckes of Maytree Studios who will discuss new practices and models of practice on Tuesday 2 May.

The general public, as well as members of the design community, are welcome to attend the free lectures, held weekly on Tuesday evenings until 23 May with networking and refreshments before each session.

Architecture professionals attending the events will be eligible for two informal continuing professional development points (CPD) with the Australian Institute of Architects.

The UQ Architecture lecture series is a partnership between SLQ’s Asia Pacific Design Library and The University of Queensland’s School of Architecture. For more information about weekly speakers, visit slq.qld.gov.au/whats-on. The lectures will be live streamed on the SLQ website, Design Online and Facebook Live for offsite viewers.
