By Administrator | 6 September 2017
Mark your calendars – the ALIA Qld Mini Conference is on next month!
When: Monday 30 October, 9:00am-4:45pm
Where: Brisbane Square Library, The End Room
Theme: From little things big things grow
ALIA Queensland would like to hear from you if you are interested in presenting a paper, workshop or other interactive activity at the Mini Conference this year. They are looking for presenters from across the state from big, small, city and regional libraries, IKCs, mobile libraries and any other library you can think of!
Has your library made an impact in your community, created a successful partnership, or developed dynamic programs or digital innovation? Think broadly about how you can showcase your library within the theme, from little things big things grow.
Submissions should be made by completing the online form by Sunday 17 September.
Please send an outline (of no more than 300 words) of either a 15 minute presentation or a 30 minute workshop or other interactive activity, reflecting the theme from little things big things grow. Selected speakers will be advised by 30 September 2017.
Registrations are now open and you can also stay tuned for more news on the ALIA Queensland website, Facebook or Twitter.
The Queensland Library Achiever of the Year Award will also be announced during the Mini Conference.
