Sensory friendly sessions

Join us on Sunday mornings for a quieter, calmer experience of The Corner. We’ll turn down the lights and music and provide play resources and books to explore. 

These sessions are designed to welcome families with sensory processing differences and disabilities. Anyone who is unsure about coming to The Corner or would benefit from a sensory aware environment is welcome to join.  

Bookings are required for this free activity so that we can keep numbers small and give everyone space to play. Bookings will close a week before the session to help with planning. Please check the dates below to confirm which sessions are available to book now.

First 5 Forever is a family-centred program providing free playful experiences to support Queensland families on their child’s journey through the first 5 years. The program is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
