National Reconciliation Week – with the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dancers and Aunty Sharron
Recommended all ages
Celebrate National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June) at The Corner with a rich and engaging program for children and families.
Be welcomed onto Country by the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dancers, then enjoy an interactive performance from Aunty Sharron mirii Bell, who shares culture through story, song and connection in a joyful performance that will get the whole family moving and singing along.
Families can then take part in a guided boomerang workshop, where children will explore the meaning and use of boomerangs alongside the Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dancers and decorate their own boomerang to take home.
Come along to listen, learn and share in a meaningful afternoon of curiosity, respect and connection.
