Low sensory hour

Our daily low sensory hour is an invitation to all families to be welcomed into a sensory aware environment. We’ll turn down the lights and music and provide resources that allow you to choose your own adventure. 

While our space may be a little quieter during this time, children and families are always free to play their own way, explore everything and express themselves through sound and movement.

First 5 Forever is a family-centred program providing free playful experiences to support Queensland families on their child’s journey through the first 5 years. The program is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.
