Lion's lore

Recommended all ages.

Get ready to welcome Red Dragon Martial Arts to celebrate Lunar New Year at State Library! Join us for a traditional lion dance performance, perfect for children and families looking to ring in the new year with joy and excitement. Watch the colourful lions as they dance to the beat of the drums, bringing luck and prosperity for the year ahead. After the performance, join us in The Corner as we learn about the rich cultural heritage of Lunar New Year, where we'll uncover the history of the lion dance and its connection to martial arts.

No booking required for this free activity.
