Embroidery 101

Discover the creative possibilities of decorative embroidery in this hands-on workshop. Bring in an existing garment, or work on a provided fabric swatch to learn:

• A selection of essential hand embroidery stitches
• Explore how thread can be used to add colour, texture and decorative finishes to garments
• Experiment with layering stitches, highlighting details
